Not only did my awesome wife and I put this together ourselves, but I wrote a good chunk of the wiki on it.
This is a full analog clone of the orignal TB-303. The only difference is in the sequencer section (which frankly is fine with me.)
Known and respected by Live PAs everywhere, this is my centeral sequencer. Yes, it's old. Yes it has some warts, but it is by far one of the better sequencers I have had the pleasure of working with.
A loop based sampler and effects unit. Lots of fun, and crazy F/X based synthesis opertunities here.
Sadly the timing of this thing sucks. Thanks Korg. Try again Okay? Thank you. Good Bye.
Relatively recent addition to the studio. A MIDI controller with motorized faders. Pretty good so far!
Again, a new addition to the studio. A well known, well rounded, Really Nice Compressor. Nuff said.
This, or its little brother, the A3000 has been the main sound-generator for much of the music I create. It's a synthesizer in samplers clothing.
There is a good reason why I am not explicitly calling out the make/model of this particular mixer. It isn't particularly good. At a period of my life when I was re-evaluating the making-of-a-the-technos the price point was perfect. Beware, you get what you pay for.
Screaming Acid Techno, Killing Puppies Dark Drum n Bass and a generous helping of Milky Smooth Atmospheric DnB. I've has been known to bring the house down during a sound-check. Sometimes I stray into other musical territories in the studio, However on stage I deliver a steady stream of Acid Techno and Drum and Bass to keep the people moving.
I shy away from laptops on the stage, preferring the immediacy of well connected hardware. Currently I am working on an Acid Techno attack, and exploring the technique of mastering to become a more well rounded musician.
Hover over these to see them in the studio, and how Jonnay uses them!
